1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the InterviewShorts Android app and the interviewshorts.com website (together, the "Service"), provided by Focus Global Solutions ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Description of service

InterviewShorts provides short-form, swipeable question-and-answer content for technical interview preparation across topics such as Java, Kotlin, Android internals, Flutter, Python, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Swift, SQL, and system design, organized by difficulty level. The content is intended for educational and preparation purposes only and does not guarantee any particular interview outcome, job offer, or result. Some of this content is prepared with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and may not have been reviewed by a human subject-matter expert before publication.

3. Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Account registration

Some features require signing in with your Google account via Google Sign-In. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, reproduce, or redistribute app content for commercial purposes without our written permission;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as permitted by law;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
• Harass, abuse, or impersonate any person while interacting with us through the Service.

6. Intellectual property

The InterviewShorts app, website, logo, question-and-answer content, design, and underlying software are owned by Focus Global Solutions and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on your personal devices for your own interview preparation, subject to these Terms. All other rights are reserved.

While we take reasonable care in preparing app content, including content prepared with AI assistance as noted in Section 2, we do not guarantee that it is free of third-party intellectual property rights. If you believe any content infringes your rights, see Section 14.

7. Your feedback

If you submit a question suggestion, correction, or other feedback through the app or by email, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the Service without any obligation to compensate you. You represent that any such submission is your own original work, or that you otherwise have the right to submit it, and that it does not infringe or misappropriate any third party's intellectual property or other rights.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services, including Google Play, Google Firebase, and Google Sign-In, each governed by its own terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of these third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Interview questions and answers are provided for study purposes and may not reflect every interviewer's expectations; we do not guarantee specific exam, interview, or employment results.

Content may be generated or assisted by AI tools and can contain errors, omissions, or information that is outdated or does not reflect current interview practices at any specific company. The Service does not provide professional, career, legal, or employment advice, and no advisory relationship is created by your use of it. If you notice an inaccuracy, please report it to us using the contact details in Section 7.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Focus Global Solutions and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or opportunity (including a missed job offer), arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using the Service and uninstall the app at any time.

12. Changes to the service or terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated through the app or this website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

14. Copyright infringement notices

If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please send us a notice including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work or right you claim has been infringed; (b) identification of the specific content in the Service you claim is infringing, including its location (e.g., topic and question); (c) your name, address, email, and phone number; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent, or the law; and (e) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Send notices to support@focusglobalsolutions.com. We will review valid notices and remove or disable access to content we identify as infringing within a reasonable time.
